M40 M55 Twill Spread Tow Carbon Fiber Fabric Description

M40 and M55 twill – weave carbon fiber spread tow is crafted by aligning high – modulus filaments, saturating them with epoxy to form prepregs, weaving into a twill pattern, and curing under controlled heat and pressure.

Compared to T700 and T800, these variants feature higher modulus, better shape retention under stress, enhanced shear and impact resistance, and superior fatigue resistance. The twill weave further boosts their mechanical performance.

Widely used in aerospace for engine mounts and landing gear, in defense for armored components and missile casings, and in robotics and industrial machinery, they deliver high stiffness, durability, and precision.
