Basalt Surfacing Veils Description
Basalt fiber surfacing veil is a lightweight and incombustible material with high temperature resistance (up to 1100°C) and a compact structure, making it ideal for wrapping uneven surfaces and protecting against hot spots and sparks. It is suitable for environments ranging from -260°C to 1100°C and is characterized by excellent thermal shock resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and flexibility, with low heat conduction and bulk density. The veil possesses permanent flame-retardant and antistatic properties, is harmless to humans, and emits no toxic gases, ensuring safe use in humid, smoky, or chemically harsh conditions. It effectively prevents flame spread, isolates combustion, and can be stored easily for long-term use without degradation, with no asbestos or fiberglass content, ensuring durability and safety.
