Kevlar Aramid Fabric Description
KEVLAR fabric proves to be highly suitable for impact-resistant applications where outstanding specific tensile strength and minimal weight are required. Among different forms of KEVLAR, the plain weave variety is the most favored one in composites. Despite being a bit stiff when it comes to highly contoured molds, it presents uniform properties, ensures maximum stability, and has straightforward surfacing characteristics. Kevlar Fabric is crafted by weaving continuous aramid fiber yarn, and this yarn can be customized to create plain and twill weave cloth as well as uni-directional cloth.
